Nov 15, 2019 · The 3203 Artist has a solid state front end. There are no preamp tubes. There is a Phase splitter and two power tubes. I suggest changing all three with known good ones.

Jul 23, 2010 · the Artist is considered by many (including Jim Marshall himself) to be the worst model Marshall ever produced. Yeah, but the Artist he's talking about isn't the 3203/4203 series. There was another model with the same name in the 70s.
