    Mary Giehl was a Registered Nurse for 22 years working in the Pediatric ER, Pediatric ICU and Transport. In 1985 she returned to school to study Fiber Arts at Syracuse University while continuing her career as a nurse. She graduated in 1989 with her BFA in Fiber Arts, then continued on to receive her Master's of Fine Arts in Sculpture in 1992.
