An entirely self- taught artist, she demonstrated an aptitude for painting from childhood, and completed her first commission at the age of just thirteen. As an adult, she spent four years living in Zimbabwe and Cape Town, where she began to establish herself as a professional artist.

Artist Biography: Mary Shaw Mary Shaw was educated at La Retraite School for girls. She had a love of painting and drawing at a very early age and at only 13 years old was being commissioned to paint landscapes and flower paintings. She continued to develop her skills and has exhibited sucessfully throughout the UK.
