Michael J. Austin was born in London, 1959. A comic book artist and illustrator for over ten years, working on many well-known magazines, newspapers and comics (especially ‘Judge Dredd’ and ‘2000AD’), he doggedly pursued his desire to be able to concentrate entirely upon fine art and produced his first solo exhibition at the Park Walk Gallery, London in 1996.
