Michael Onken. "Above the Cetterline". Created by Michael Onken, an SIU Emeritus Professor of Drawing and Painting. He retired in 2002 after a 34-year teaching career. For 29 of those years he served as the Director of Graduate Studies. An exhibition of his paintings with a retrospective view of work over past decades was held at the University Museum in 2006.
