    Nigel Hall studied at the West of England College of Art, Bristol from 1960 to 1964 and at the Royal College of Art, London from 1964 to 1967. A Harkness Fellowship took him to the United States from 1967 to 1969. Hall has had many exhibitions around the world and has been widely collected. His first tubular aluminium sculpture was made in 1970.
