In1992, Brown burst on the scene and signed with Motown as their featured artist and launched the MoJazz label. He delivered his debut album, Just Between Us, and followed with the gold-certified, Soul Train and Gavin Radio Awards for After The Storm and Better Days Ahead which earned him the American Jazz Award.
