biography. Born in Ostrov in the Pskov region in Russia, Valery Orlov now lives and works in Moscow. He graduated from both the Art Faculty of MGPI and the Graphic Art Faculty of Moscow State Teacher's Training Institute in 1969. From 1980 to 1985 he taught printmaking at the Faculty of Art Design of Printed Matter at Moscow Polygraphic Institute.
