Art at Oundle. Our emphasis is on teaching Fine Art, with the disciplines covered including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, fabric painting, batik and digital photography. Art History and Art Appreciation are taught at all levels but, more particularly, in the Sixth Form as part of the A level.

SIMON DOLBY Dolby Gallery. Dolby trained at The Ruskin School of Art in Cambridge in the 70’s and worked as an illustrator and designer for many years before embarking on a career as a fine artist 20 years ago. After buying the old Oundle doctors’ surgery, he and his wife Gillian converted it into a house and studio, later changing the patients’ waiting rooms into an art gallery.

12th December 2017. Oundle School. Former pupil, Georgie Mason has been ‘artist in residence’ at Oundle School since the start of October. Georgie is an abstract landscape painter working mainly with oil and mixed media. Georgie was an Art Scholar at Oundle and continued with art throughout her time at School after which she went on to do a foundation course.
