Pak Sheung Chuen was born in 1977 in Fujian, China. He obtained his BA in Fine Arts and Theology from Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2002. Pak immigrated, with his family, to Hong Kong before the Handover in the 1980s. He is a multidisciplinary artist interested in calibrating and transforming uncontrollable variables.

Pak Sheung Chuen was born in Anxi, Fujian province, China, in 1977. In 1984, he and his mother moved to Hong Kong to join his father, who had moved there for work before he was born; thus, Pak grew up in the run-up to the British handover of the territory to China in 1997.
