Dec 07, 2020 · Area artist Patricia Olynyk describes her fluidly mesmerizing work Oculus (shown in the accompanying photograph) as “a large-scale, collaborative light sculpture that depicts a colossal abstracted drosophila [fruit fly] eye, replete with compound faceted surfaces.
