I am Paul McCloskey, a painter from Ireland and a graduate from the National College of Art in Dublin; I also attended De Montfort University in the UK and was awarded Masters in Fine art in 2010. I’m also a qualified teacher in art/design and work with students of all age groups.

Paul McCloskey is a visual artist and teacher. He lives and works in Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland; however, he grew up in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan -a border county during what is often referred to as the troubles in the 70’s and 80’s. He was very aware of the tensions and conflicts across the border, which often spilled into daily life.
