Dec 20, 2016 · The "generic" Blue Marvel 12" speaker is fine if you like bright American-sounding speakers and low wattage crunch, but it is rather quiet at 96.7 db sensitivity. Per Peavey Customer Service it is an unlabeled speaker made to Peavey's Valveking 12" 16ohm specs (except lower wattage, 40w vs the "labeled" USA Blue Marvel's 75w).4.5/5

Jul 08, 2011 · Like all Peavey's their amps are extremely easy to figure out. The only thing that I don't like is all the inputs in the front of the amp. There are four inputs and it get kind of messy in the front of the amp. This is basic EQ setup with these amps. There really isn't anything different then most other amps or even other Peavey amp. Dec 19, 2014 · Well, nothing says southern rock better than those Peavey hybrid amps. I never saw a 1x12 Classic VT myself, the 2x12 weighs 64 pounds. The early Classic amps used transistors in the preamps, the CT and VTX versions shifted to integrated circuits. The preamps will sound the same as the solid state head preamps of the era, as they are the same.
