Painted in 1984 this is probably one of my best known paintings with several prints of it including one by the Yorkshire Evening Post. In 1958 as a senior aircraftsman Pete Lapish, air wireless mechanic, usual job servicing Vulcan bombers, I was stationed at Moreton for two weeks before demobilisation.
