Welsh artist Peter Prendergast was one of Britain’s foremost landscape painters. Inspired by the surroundings of his Snowdonia home, his bold expressionist paintings are noted for their vigour and energy. Peter was born in Abertridwr, south Wales in 1946, but lived and worked in North Wales for many years up to his death in 2007.
