Born in Düsseldorf 1964, Germany, Pia Dehne received her Master of Fine Arts from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in Germany, while studying under Professor Markus Lüpertz from 1988 – 1994. Dehne later lived in Berlin, and after her second solo exhibition there in 1999 at Galerie Kubinski, moved to New York.
