    May 13, 2016 · I owned an Made in England Premier Artist Birch Club kit in silver sparkle lacquer and it was a really well made kit.I have seen some of the newer Chinese made Artist Birch kits and they are not near as nice as the made in England models.One of the biggest differences is the chrome plating on the made in England kit is far superior, it just gleams under the stage lights.

I had a floating floor tom with the Artist Maple and it was just too flimsy for my tastes. Since then, if I buy any new kit, the floor tom has to have legs. P.S.
