Caetano Veloso’s ‘Nine Out of Ten’ from the legendary Transa album spoke about the London reggae scene, while Paulo Diniz’ brought the “saudade” of the Bahian beaches on the bass-driven reggae of ‘Bahia Comigo’. Two years earlier, Paulo Diniz had written a song for the exiled Caetano called ‘I Wanna Go Back to Bahia’.
