    At BBHS Reinblatt studied art under Anne Savage. He continued his art education for seven years in the studio of Alexandre Bercovitch, where he developed a deep appreciation for impressionism and post-impressionism, as well as at the Montreal Museum’s School of Fine Arts and Design. In 1942 Reinblatt joined the R.C.A.F. as an airframe mechanic.
