    Roland Poulin was born in 1940 in Saint Thomas, Ontario. His family moved to Montreal in 1944. He has lived in Saine-Angèle-de-Monnoir (Québec) since 1986. He studied at l'École des beaux-arts de Montréal from 1964 to 1969. In 1975, he designed Parachute magazine's graphic identity.
