Rosa Loy (b. 1958) lives and works in Leipzig, Germany. She was educated at the Humboldt University Berlin and Studied at the Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig, Germany. She is one of the painters in Germany dealing with the mystery of the woman, the new femininity and the new romanticism. The romanticism has a great tradition in Saxon painting.
