Jan 19, 2009 · The artists' name must be different in some way for your iPod to separate them like that. A way to make sure is to go into iTunes and change both of the songs' infos at the same time, so you know for sure they're the same. To do that, click one of the songs. Hold Crtl and click the other song. Both of them should be highlighted.

Nov 11, 2003 · I don't know why this is happening. In Itunes, I have Jay Z listed twice, and the same with Johnny Cash and A Tribe Called Quest. With both Johnny & Tribe, the second listing of the artist name contains just one song (in Itunes), which is a part of an entire album already listed on the previous name.
