Feb 01, 2015 · I have an old Samick "The Samick" Les Paul custom style in Tobacco Burst. It has a vey thin neck, almost Ibanez like, and build quality is very, very good with long tenon, and thick cap (maple??) complete with lawsuit type headstock.

Mar 25, 2002 · It was solid, played as good as the les pauls i was trying, had nice fretboard and headstock inlays, has a set neck, keys held the tuning well, tone was better than any of the other cheap guitars i played (very close to the les paul tone), and had a drop dead georgous birdseye maple top. the samick was used, but in great shape.

Feb 04, 2017 · I have a Samick Artist Series solidbody, kinda like a double cutaway Les Paul with set neck and Firebird pickups. Korean-made, it is just a fabulous instrument in fit and finish. It holds a special place in my heart.

It's basically a copy of Les Paul, but with a horn sharper and wider, a bit like the ES 135, with a binding sunburnst color cream (can it be silent white origin I forget ..) 2 humbuckers, and traditional contrl (2 volumes, 2 tones and a slecteur 3 positions).
