ALLAN SAPP (1929- ) of North Battleford is a world-famous Plains Cree artist whose paintings refelct his memories of growing up on the Red Pheasant Indian Reserve in Saskatchewan. History. Yvonne was commissioned by the Government of Saskatchewan in 2010 to capture the history of the Métis. The 6’ by 5’ work of art is displayed at Government House in Regina Yvonne has captured the history in many of Regina’s historic buildings such as, Regina Grey Nuns Hospital, The Plains Hospital, Central Collegiate, Balfour Collegiate as well as many more.
