May 20, 2005 · The Sierra Artist is not a student model. You can change the copedent on it, and if I remember correctly it has a triple raise, triple lower changer. It's very lightweight, but it's non-traditional all-aluminum design didn't really catch on with the steel playing public. It should be pretty easy to add an extra lever or two.

Oct 28, 2004 · Sierra Artist D10 8 + 4. George L pickups. Emmons E9 Chromatic set-up on front neck; Standard C6 tuning on back neck. Excellent tone and good sustain. I emailed Tom Baker at Sierra a couple of days ago and he confirmed that now that Sierra has re-opened, parts for the Artist are available. No scratches or bar marks anywhere on this guitar.
