Oct 23, 2007 · I don't think you can change the sort order in Cover Flow on the iPod, but you can fix the problem with compilations. The Album Artist field allows you to specify the nominal artist for the album. For compilations you could use "Various" or "Various Artists". Cover Flow will use the Album Artist field in preference to the Artist field.

Dec 13, 2007 · All seems to work well as I see the cover art on my 5g Ipod. The only issue that I have noticed is that when I use the Coverflow option in the latest Itunes it shows multiple covers for the same album. These seem to be compliation albums so instead of displaying one cover for an album it shows a cover for each of the artists on the album.

Oct 06, 2006 · I have now corrected the album data with the single artist and etc. but the sequence on my Ipod Classic still has the album where it was originally. Any ideas how to sort this out as I have approx. 400 albums and to get to an album by say Craig David and have to go right to the end of the cover flow is quite annoying…. Reply
