Jun 27, 2014 · Leon Russell is the composer and an artist, Elton John is the album artist and an artist on this track. I think the use of an artist sort tag and no album artist tag would still get the desired result on the Touch but not in iPeng 7 where I would have to delete the composer tag.

Dec 30, 2009 · Squeezebox sets one artist sort per artist, so it came across the compilation and set the sort to Various instead of BT or Faithless (Doesn't seem the best way IMHO). Clearing the problem compilation FLACs of this tag resolved my second issue. The issue where FLACs were ignore was only resolved by re-ripping in Max on my Mac.

Sep 11, 2015 · The album art is embedded in the tag data. The tag data is still there. iTunes (cough), Zune and the venerable WMP all still show the album art. MP3Tag and Squeezebox still show the cover artwork. Groove does seem to have a problem reading artwork from the tag data embedded in the file.

Jun 10, 2011 · If new music is added to your files (that's the monitoring files bit, it doesn't monitor the Internet) bliss will look up album art etc in a normal HTTP manner. Like squeezebox server there's only a potential backdoor if you open up the port to bliss to the wider world, but for most home firewalls that's something you'd have to do with knowledge.
