Jan 16, 2012 · I, too, have art from Starving Artists and find your complaints to be a bit disingenuous. What they sell is exactly what they advertise - inexpensively priced, hand-painted oils. No, they are not "one of a kind" (yes, clearly the artist or artists paint a number of the same image) nor from their TV ads did I expect them to be.

Jan 05, 2013 · I just wanted to point out this is a scam. Sure the artists are starving, but they are all in China. It sort of makes me a little sick that they are pretending to be something they are not. There is a bunch of painters in a row and they are instructed to just paint a little part of the painting and move it to the next painter and down the line.

Dec 29, 2020 · Promoters, stylists, groupies, and such have been doing this for the longest. There’s always someone who will take starving artists, wannabe starlets, or whoever else’s money or whatever they are offering, then ghost them after they have gotten the money or whatever. Most of the time the scammer will lie and deny that anything happened.
