steph parke: I used my SX-70 to take three shots with one of my two packs of the new and very expensive Artistic TZ, and when I went to take a fourth shot, the shutter fires (I hear the little click) and the mirror fires (I hear the big clunky noise), and then I hear the whirring noise that the camera usually makes when it kicks the film out, but this time, the film didn't get kicked out.

Mar 31, 2005 · In my book that's expired film. So tz artistic enthusiasts should expect erratic results and color bleaching. All my tz shots (8 packs) went to green after a couple of weeks. In a few instances this was welcome, an uncontollable result but yet pleasing. In most instances the scanned, pre color bleaching, is the usable image.

Rasmus Hartikainen: Hi everyone! I received my SX-70 model 1 today. Without film the viewfinder worked perfectly, but when I loaded some TZ Artistic into it, the viewfinder went really dark and the split-image assist doesn't work. Otherwise the camera works perfectly: it closes properly and shutter + rollers work fine (managed to take one picture).
