17 reviews of United Artists Metro Theater - CLOSED "Best first-run big, classic single-screen theatre left in San Francisco. The screen is huge, lots of comfortable seats, good sound, and the careful projection you get when there's a projectionist whose job is to actually project one movie on one screen. This place needs your business, or we'll lose it the way we lost the Coronet (tear).
