Mar 02, 2012 · As the whole point of Artisteer, is to easily create templates it doesn't make sense for it to produce code that can't be edited by the industry standard html editor - Dreamweaver. May 12, 2015 · Dreamweaver doesn't produce clean CSS, neitehr does Photoshop, Photoshop with SiteGrinder, CoffeeCup or any other WYSIWYG tool. Each one has to be tweaked in order to make it compliant. So, with all that, you can use Artisteer to produce code that is useable and tweakable and at a reasonable price.

Jun 19, 2015 · We use Dreamweaver not because we don't know html/css but because its facilities allow better workflow after we've finished constructing the html/css with Notepad. Artisteer promised us the potential to bypass the laborious html coding in Notepad and jump straight into Dreamweaver but it fails because it's code is too complex for DW to work with.

May 21, 2010 · Dreamweaver CS4 makes a mess of the Artisteer templates, making visual editing nearly impossible. Sure, if you're a code pro, that's not a big deal. But most photographers and designers don't want to spend their time looking at or attempting to hack code. That's one reason most of us end up getting Artisteer!

Oct 09, 2012 · I've searched the Artisteer and Adobe forums and I've ran into a lot fo people with the same problem. Someone suggested Project Seven: Dreamweaver Menus, Responsive CSS Templates, Widgets, HTML5 Gallery and More for CSS templates that work well with Dreamweaver but honestly I don't want to dish out 100 bucks per template.
