Finally, after some meddling, i found the link for imae cache for groove on mobie. it's Computer\Windows phone\Phone\Data\USERS\DefApps\APPDATA\LOCAL\Packages\Microsoft.ZuneMusic_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\ImageCache\20. I can edit existing artist art to a newer user defines one, but i cant seem to add one with a proper name!

So I know there are quite a few people who want to change most of the images that Groove Music uses as but not limited too Artist Images, Artist Banners, Live Tiles etc. The process does take a while but If you are hell-bent on changing them, or if you prefer another image it is possible!! Groove music stores all these images locally; I am not talking about Album covers.
