    Jan 29, 2018 · Situated on a hill above Woodstock’s Evergreen Cemetery, the Artist’s Cemetery was founded in 1934 by John Kingsbury, after he lost his 19-year-old son. “His son was killed in a tragic accident,” said Heppner. “Kingsbury went to look at the Evergreen Cemetery for a plot and kept wandering up the hill.”
