Biography synopsis. Ethel Marie Curry, commonly referred to as "Peggy," studied painting in England under Stanley Royle. She was a landscape painter who worked in oils, and has exhibited her work in St. John, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax. Curry was a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Artists and is represented in the Museum of Fine Arts in Halifax (currently the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia).
