Home - DMG Gallery

The Gallery in itself is a work of art. Duncan has transformed a 7,800 square foot former fish and tomato packing plant into a beautiful, multi-functional space. Lush fruit bearing trees create an eden within the industrial area that surrounds it. The grounds have become a meeting place for glass artists, visiting dignitaries and the community.

Family - Robert L. Hamon Glass Artist

Below, Donald and Robert are featured in a photograph, which I took in the late 1990s. The setting is the Hamon Glass Studio, where the two were working on sculptures and other art glass pieces. It was always a pleasure for me to observe my uncles working in glass, and nowhere did I feel more at home than in the studio.

John McDonald merid-glass - Meridian Street Art Glass

    https://www.meridianstreetartglass.com/john-mcdonald
Meridian Street Art Glass is owned by glass blowing artist John McDonald. McDonald’s glass art is inspired by seeing what he imagines in his mind come to life at the end of a pipe. Each creation is formed by blending, mixing, or layering colored glass to create unique art pieces which are merged using the age old process of glassblowing.

D O N A L D D E R R Y - the artist and his work

So successful was his quest that his work is, more often than not, thought to be Fine Art Glass rather than finely crafted wood. Presently Donald is working in Chinese elm because the open grain structure and neutral wood tone lends well to the coloring process he is developing.

Artist Donald Carlson - Fascination St Fine Art

By accident, Karen brought Donald too much glass for the stem of an apple he was working on. As he pulled the stem up to cut, he saw a cherry. His whimsical grouping of cherries, ranging from 6" to 24", has put fun back into the art of making glass. The cherries are bright and fresh, and they delight everyone.

Prints Judd Foundation

    https://juddfoundation.org/artist/art/prints/
Judd’s long-term work with prints as well as his large collection of works by master printmakers attest to his belief that printmaking is as serious an art form as painting or sculpture. Judd studied printing techniques while at the Art Students League, and designed his first prints starting in 1951.
