Welcome to the Artists’ Colony of Jerusalem. Hutzot HaYotzer (as it is known in Hebrew) is a charming studio-lined lane at the foot of the Old City walls, within a short walk from the Jaffa Gate and Mamilla Mall. Established in 1967 by the legendary mayor of Jerusalem, Teddy Kollek, the artist colony is a bridge between western and eastern Jerusalem.

This hidden gem isn't on a lot of lists, but is well worthwhile and very easy to get get to.
