Aug 11, 2010 · On second thought, awhile back I spent about 4 hours in a music store trying out ES-335 type guitars, and played them all through a Marshall half stack of some type; not sure but it looked very close to the JVM (with the three rows of preamp knobs). I do recall it sounded BAD, very bright and abrasive, but again I didn't run it very loud.
