Shirley Shepherd began her art training in the early 70's, working in oils under the teaching of Peggy Sullens in Lilburn, GA. With working full tme and raising two children, little time was left to explore art.. In l995, however, Ms. Shepherd was introduced to watercolor by a friend. She loved the boldness of color and the fluidity of working with this medium.
