Tony was born in Selkirk, Scotland but spent his childhood in Penarth, Wales. He began painting at the age of sixteen, working in oils for thirty years before turning to watercolour. He graduated with a degree in Zoology from Cambridge University before studying for a medical degree involving clinical studies at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London .

Biography. I am a West Australian artist working predominantly as a sculptor working across a wide range of mediums and ideas from my studio/factory in O’Connor, an industrial suburb of Fremantle. My artistic vision encompasses and combines cultural and political issues, local history, maritime and aeronautical imagery as well as themes from the personal and the imagined.
