Nicely blended colors. Flower petals are reddish hue with one yellow petaled flower. Rookwood mark on the base alongside Roman numerals "XXIII" indicating year of manufacture was 1923. The shape number is "2528" an the artist's initials "LNL" appear in dark blue. Condition: Mint condition. No damage. Diameter - 2 3/4" W - 3 1/2" H - 8 1/8"

Although almost impossible to see, under bright light and magnification it is marked with the RP die-stamp, VII for 1907, shape number 919E, and LNL for the artist. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs, and only the typical crazing and a little peppering. A beautiful example of arts & crafts Rookwood vellum.
